v1.12


Another bug which must be fixed was found :)

so to next:

- More Thanos moves
- fixed "run attack" at map select
- added char select between warlock stage and final battle
- darker filtre to arcade stage
- Wizzy are mamking a noew song to final battle.
- diferent pose to stryfe hover
- fixed stryfe movement on sky level when shot
....
looking for more few changes

    Ah, vc viu que o Douglas perguntou sobre o limite do allowselect no forum? É capaz q seus problemas sejam resolvidos em breve!

    1. hehehe, pro story mode não, que deu trabalho deixar como está, mas vou poder melhorar o MFA e war gems se aumentarem esse limite.

    2. Que são justamente os modos que precisam ter maior limite. :)

      (alias, pelo q entendi, se vc PRECISASSE q isso funcionasse agora, dava pra renomear todos os bilhoes de chars pra 01.txt, 02.txt, etc, e daí o limite aguentava... olha o tamanho da gambiarra! rs)

      Agora, pro Story, acho que se vc quisesse "ceder" a pressão dos que querem desbloquear chars, dava pra ir expandindo (ou restringindo) o roster entre as fases. Por ex, em NY, começam só os agentes da shield no helicarrier, depois entram os defensores nas ruas, depois o Spider Friends na fase 2d, etc etc, até q tá todo mundo junto na base da AIM. (Apesar que, a meu ver, o unico motivo pra liberar o roster aos poucos é pra satisfazer história, então ao menos que vc tenha interesse em expandir ela no futuro...)

  2. Maybe u can use stryfe hover for run also

    Warlock shares same sprites as magus and punch (naturally ) could you give him a hand blast...I don't see warlock just as a brawler

  3. Big Z before you release new version, I have a simple little request :)
    Would be possible to recover mana more quickly when the chars are in idle position??? I'd like this to perform more special at full mana

    1. Yeah, something should be done about that... Full mana specials are being used less than ultras in MIW. :(
      Perhaps recovering mana more quickly could help, but then you'd just use your ultra again
      ... maybe it could be bettrt to use the full mana special with 75% mana instead of 100%?

  4. I was wondering if is on your plan to introduce more Maximum Carnage levels and maybe recreate a adapted version of Sega Genesis "Spiderman vs Kingpin". You just lack the "Electro" character, for the rest are all presents.

    On the Maximum Carnage, is still missing, Carrion, Demongoblin and the big fat mobster (that in the game was used to jump very high).

  6. Hey Z I have a request would it be possible to add another attack for Hercules? His standardized moves are great so are his throws I was thinking he should have an extra aerial move like a flying belly drop or a flying lariat I think that would add a lot to playing Hercules in game also I think changing his power rating to be full like the hulks would make sense he is the god of strength and warriors after all. I also saw in a previous comment that you where going to be implementing a choice for players to choose between using a button to perform special and command inputs to perform specials like in your previous work will this next update include that feature? Thanks again for this awesome game I love it cant wait for the update.

    1. herc is perfect already, one of must fun chars to play.

      about hadouken return, i did somes tests, it will not happen on nexts updates, demand more attention and tests, is not possible do a hadouken while running, for example, and for now, just bug fixes.

    2. I suppose the problem is manually adjusting all the cancels, right?

      Anyway, for when you decide to change things, how about:
      F F + A = run attack
      D F + A = special / air special
      D U + A = run special
      D D + A = MARVEL helper
      U U + A = combo finisher

    3. Also if you add one more move to herc it would give variety as of now he can only do standard slam and jumping slam the dash special is grab the special is grab which all leads to the same grab...maybe a zangeif spinning lariat would help

  7. Zvitor, não consegui mudar a configuração de tela de Full Screen para uma resolução menor.
    O programa simplesmente vira uma pequena barra, sem a possibilidade de vermos a tela; mas ao alterar para full de novo, volta ao normal.

    1. ai vai da compatibilidade do pc, tem o modo opengl e sdl, pode ser que um dos 2 seja compativel.

    2. Tambem aconteceu comigo, tirei do fullscreen e a janela ficou tao pequena q nem dava pra ler nada. Fui no system options e em config resetei as configurações do openbor. Isso fez voltar a janela num tamanho razoavel e dai é só configurar tudo de novo. ;)

  9. Z, pro modo mfa, você pretende colocar select screen em cada fase? Porque da pra terminar tudo com um personagem só, a menos que se mate com todas as vidas acumuladas. É só uma dúvida mesmo, sei que o jogo tá bem completo, e com umas gambiarras, mas tem como burlar isso?

    1. limite da engine, se lançarem u update que seja capaz de suportar mais de 50 chars pra escolher entre as fases.

    1. Hey i think morbius could use a grab attack that stuns and steals heal vulture as well but i know that will take more spriting

Well for morbius you could just use his swipe as a stand in for a hold and he can absorb blood through his hand like the cartoon. ..on another note...cyclops blast seem the same to me regardless of mana amount. .maybe lower mana could be optic bullet...apocalypse on the other hand only gets to use his full blast at 100 percent and then at 99 percent he uses projectiles. ..can you make it yo where apocalypse can use his full blast one more time before it defaults to the small projectile?

  11. Big Z, I think since version 1.1 the game is almost perfect. Now you should have a break before working on the next project.
